GIANNI ELIGIANO aka WERS​

​

He started his career as a dancer and graffiti artist in 1997, thanks to the pioneers of the Neapolitan hip-hop scene.

He proudly represents the city of Naples and the historic crew Tree Boo Dancers, who are considered pioneers of the House Dance scene in Italy today.

He has won and been a guest in numerous battles both in Italy and abroad, including the Juste Debout Italy House in 2009 and 2014, representing Italy at the world finals in Paris for House Dance. He has been a guest at events such as Session Du Style and Deep House Mission in Paris, and Funkin’ Stylez in Düsseldorf.

 

As a teacher, he works with the most important centers of urban dance and street dance events in Italy.

He is also the choreographer for the House To Be Company, performing at events such as Futuro Festival at Teatro Brancaccio, Piccolo Bellini theater season, Uda Summer Fest, Prime Lucca Street Dance Contest, Quarta Parete Ugb, Back To The Style, and Time To Jack Festival.

He wins the House Dance Europe Best Choreography award in 2019.

 

In addition to his underground work, he appears as a dancer on television, participating in various programs on Rai and Mediaset, including Sanremo 2014 and 2017, Tale e Quale Show hosted by Carlo Conti in all editions, Zelig, I Migliori Anni, Miss Italia 2009 and 2017, and Made in Sud.

In 2019, he works as a dancer/assistant choreographer for the TV show Dance Dance Dance on TV8/Foxlife.

 

He is the founder of the House To Be community, a reference point in Italy and abroad for all enthusiasts of this culture, and he organizes the international event "Time To Jack Festival" dedicated to club culture.
