JENNIFER LAVINIA ROSATI

 

Throughout her professional career, she has the pleasure of collaborating with various entities such as Giardino Chiuso, Fondazione Fabbrica Europa, C.O.B., Versiliadanza, and Adarte. She interpreted numerous productions by renowned choreographers and artists, including Loris Petrillo, Philippe Talard, Vasco Wellenkamp, Gustavo Oliveira, Peter Mika, Paola Vezzosi, Patrizia de Bari, Tuccio Guicciardini, Arianna Benedetti, Alessia Gatta, Samuele Cardini, Kristian Cellini, and others. She participates in numerous international festivals and is involved in various short films and video dance projects as "The Rite of City II" directed by Maurice Lai and choreographed by Noel Pong (CCDC,Hong Kong).

 

In 2021, she is among the protagonists of the Florence New Year's Eve event "Futura. Vicini nella distanza" and performed in a site-specific exhibition with choreographer and dancer Samuele Cardini at the Monumental Complex of Santa Croce, as a prelude to the artist Felice Limosani's project "Dante. Il Poeta Eterno."

 

In the same year, she collaborates with the duo Meissa Saxophone for the project "Ali"-"Sottovoce." Besides her work as a performer, she dedicates herself to experimenting with choreographic composition.

 

In 2019, her choreography "Lonely together" wins the international competition Città di Spoleto, receiving the prestigious critics' award. During the same year, she works as a choreographer for the cultural exchange project Terraparallela (Opus Ballet and Compañia de Danca do Algarve).

In 2021, she collaborates with the Opus Ballet Center for a project promoted by Institut francais called "De Vulgari Eloquentia."

 

Since 2020, she starts a research and creation journey with Lorenzo di Rocco, giving life to creations like "Entanglement","Kaleidos","Ricordami di me" and "Eco", as well as projects like ZAKURO/speakingbodies company and GET THE FLOOR.

 

With the creation Entanglement, produced by Giardino Chiuso/Orizzonti Verticali, Fondazione Fabbrica Europa/PARC Performing Arts Research Centre, they participate in the Orizzonti Verticali_Arti sceniche in cantiere festival in 2020.

In 2021 they win the V° edition of the "Twain Direzioni Altre" award, with a special mention for the artistic quality of the performers and the project proposal.

In these years, with the same creation, they are guests at the Dominio Pubblico, Tendance, Back to the future, FuoriFormato, Futuro Festival and Körper festivals.
