VALENTINA ZAPPA

Since 2007, she has been part of the "Scuola Del Balletto Di Toscana." In 2010, she joined the youth company "Antitesi Ensemble BDT," directed by Arianna Benedetti, participating in all their productions.
From 2014, she became a member of the dance company "Opus Ballet," working with choreographers such as Arianna Benedetti, Samuele Cardini, and Philippe Talard. In the same year, she attended the R.O.S. course directed by Samuele Cardini.
In 2015, she took part in the feature film "The Rite of City II," directed by Maurice Lai and choreographed by Noel Pong. Additionally, she danced in a music video for the musician Michel Fadel.
Starting in 2017, she began working as a freelance dancer abroad, performing in Luxembourg, Germany, and Finland, collaborating with artists like Jean-Guillaume Weis (Dance Theatre Luxembourg), Hannah Ma (The People United), Giovanni Zazzera, and Saeed Hani.
In 2019, she won the "Crossing the Sea" call with a project in collaboration with artists Giovanfrancesco Giannini and Fabio Novembrini. She participated in productions like "Radio Elvis," "Scivolo alla fermata del Tram," and "Anima e cuore," choreographed by Francesca Lettieri for Compagnia Adarte. She also took part in a site-specific project directed by choreographer Sang Jijia at the Fabbrica Europa festival, which was also presented at the CCDC Festival in Hong Kong.
Currently, she works as a freelance dancer while simultaneously pursuing studies in PROGEAS at the University of Florence.
